In her new role, she is responsible for planning and implementing SKTI\u2019s communications and developing joint communications and impact communications across the institute network.<\/p>\n<p>Ter\u00e4v\u00e4inen is already familiar with the institute network, having worked at SKTI as an EU project manager in 2024\u20132025. She has previously served as Managing Director of the Baltic Circle Festival and held communications roles at EMMA \u2013 Espoo Museum of Modern Art, Cirko \u2013 Center for New Circus and the Helsinki Festival.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m excited to return to SKTI in a new role. The institute network does important, long-term work around the world to promote internationality, and I\u2019m delighted to have the opportunity to raise the profile of this work. International exchange in the arts and sciences is immensely importance, and I\u2019m happy to take on the task of communicating its significance,\u201d says Ter\u00e4v\u00e4inen<\/p>\n<p>SKTI\u2019s Secretary General Hanna L\u00e4ms\u00e4 welcomes Ter\u00e4v\u00e4inen\u2019s return to the network.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAsta\u2019s extensive knowledge of the institute network, combined with her expertise in strategic communications, provides an excellent foundation for developing SKTI\u2019s communications.
