We examine ways in which institutions, cities and public spaces can become safer for minoritized groups and individuals.<\/p>\n<p>They are joined by <strong>Malin Bergstr\u00f6m<\/strong> from the Finnish Institute for the Benelux. The discussion is moderated by <strong>Monica Gathuo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This seminar is the second installment of a 7-part discussion series called \u201cIn Conversation with the Finnish Institutes\u201d hosted by the Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes (Benelux, Berlin, Middle East, New York, Oslo, Paris, and the UK + Ireland). The agency works with urban planning, where different realities are taken into account as part of the planning process. Efe is interested in localities and how spaces and places are experienced. In her free time, she enjoys birdwatching and taking walks in the nearby forest.<\/p>\n<p><b>Isabelle N\u2019diaye<\/b> fosters organizational capacities for any informal actors of the Brussels cultural scene. Isabelle also acts as a support, at every stage, of cultural and artistic projects that are led by youths, womxn and POC in Brussels. Going from formulating intentions to finding fundings, spaces and opportunities.
