Riina and Sami Kaarla in Japan<\/h1>\n

Children’s book illustrators and authors Riina and Sami Kaarla will visit Tokyo as part of the pARTir project from September 20th to 29th, 2025. The Kaarlas’ visit to Japan will include artist talks, workshops, and reader meetings at the Azabu Library and Moomin Valley Park in Mets\u00e4 Hanno. During their trip, their Moomin-themed exhibition will open at Azabu Library and will continue touring libraries in Tokyo after they leave. Riina and Sami will also meet professionals in the fields of literature and gaming, and explore the dimensions of the visual novel as a new form of children’s literature.\u00a0 Read more about Riina and Sami’s pARTir project in their article<\/a>.<\/p>\n
